Giving back to the stories yet to be told.
NaijaPrimeTips sponsors passionate filmmakers, actors, and cinematographers taking their first real step into production. This is our way of investing in the community that has supported us — because a healthy society is built by people willing to create, and we want to be part of that.
Who this is for.
Our production sponsorship is designed for people at the beginning of their journey — not established studios, but individuals with real intent. If you've been waiting for the right moment to turn your passion into a project, this is it.
We look for applicants in three areas:
Actors — emerging talent who have trained, rehearsed, and are ready to appear in a produced work.
Filmmakers — directors, writers, and producers with a clear story to tell and the discipline to finish what they start.
Cinematographers — visual storytellers who understand light, movement, and the language of the frame.
You do not need a completed portfolio. You do need a clear vision and a willingness to show up. That is what we're funding.

What we provide.
Sponsorship is offered in a mix of funding, resources, and platform support. Every package is tailored to the applicant — we don't run a one-size-fits-all scheme. What you receive depends on the scope of your project and how it fits our current sponsorship cycle.
Typical support includes:
Direct financial support
Contribution toward production costs — equipment hire, location fees, wardrobe, transport, and other essential line items. Amounts are agreed case by case.
Platform & promotion
Featured placement inside the NaijaPrimeTips app and across our channels, so your project reaches an audience from day one.
Mentorship & connection
Introductions to working professionals in the Nigerian film space where possible, plus honest feedback from our team as your project takes shape.
A film worth watching for.
Every sponsorship cycle produces at least one feature — a story told by members of our community who decided to take the first step. We're proud to announce the following, currently in pre-production:
In pre-production
The Long Road Home follows three strangers whose paths cross on a single night in Lagos — and the quiet decisions that bind them to each other long after. It is a story about returning, about forgiving, and about the small acts that keep a community together.
The film is written, directed, and performed by members of the NaijaPrimeTips community — many of them on their first professional production. It is produced independently and made possible through our sponsorship programme.
Full cast and crew credits, along with the release window, will be announced inside the app once production wraps. Follow along there for behind-the-scenes updates.
How to apply.
The application process is short and direct. We'd rather read ten thoughtful applications than a hundred generic ones — so take a moment to be specific about what you want to make and why.
Submit the form
Click the button below and fill in the short application form. Tell us who you are, what you want to produce, and which role you're applying for.
We review
Our team reads every submission. We evaluate vision, clarity, and fit with our current sponsorship cycle — not credentials alone.
We reach out
If your application fits, we'll contact you by email or phone to discuss your project in more detail and outline the next steps.
Tell us the story you want to tell.
Please note: Submission of an application does not guarantee sponsorship. All applicants must be 18 years or older. We are currently focused on applicants based in Nigeria, though exceptions may be considered. Sponsorship terms, funding amounts, and creative scope are agreed individually and in writing before any commitment is made. NaijaPrimeTips reserves the right to close, pause, or amend the programme at any time.
